Redevelopment of Lamb Works, a 19th Century industrial building within the former Metropolitan Cattle Market site. The large industrial site was originally defined by four corner pubs connected by single-story masonry sheds with top-lit lightweight roof structures.
The project repairs dilapidated original building fabric, creating new workspace, coffee roasting and training facilities. A double-height timber glazed volume provides additional floor space and links together existing mezzanine floors, providing access via two new steel stairs. A new high-level outdoor terrace is hidden behind a raised parapet.
